Interesting view of this, but I'm wondering if the Italian study looked at fetishism as DSM defines it, which, if I remember correctly, would not classify breasts attraction or interest in vaginas as "fetishes". Skewed though it was, attraction to feet and shoes tended to be viewed as fetishes, while interest in breasts tended to be viewed as "normal" sexual interests.
looking at paraphilias, you tend to see feet, shoes, articles of clothing, but not more overtly sexual body parts. I didn't read the article, but that's my guess as to their findings.
